Willie Mae Henry, 84, of Hawley, died Thursday in a local nursing
home.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Moran Cemetery with
Glen Dods officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542
Hickory.
Mrs. Henry was born in Cottonwood in Callahan County and attended
nursing school in Olney. She lived in Moran and Graham before moving to
Hawley in 1973 and was a retired licensed vocational nurse. She was a
homemaker and was active with the Hawley Senior Citizens Group and
Volunteers Program. She was a member of Hawley Church of Christ and was
the widow of John Thomas Henry, whom she married in 1929 in Eastland.
Survivors include two sons, Don C. Henry of Abilene and John R.
Henry of Plano; two daughters, Delores Hamilton of Albany and Yolanda
Reynolds of Edmond, Okla.; one sister, Gladys Cox of Stamford; 13
grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
