OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Patricia M. Thompson, 74, formerly of Callahan County, died Saturday.

Services were held Wednesday in Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Cottonwood and graduated from Baird High School. She attended John Tarleton College and lived in Clinton, Okla., for many years. She then moved to Oklahoma City, where she worked as an apartment manager, and was the widow of Fred Wilson Thompson, whom she married in 1942.

Survivors include five sons, Victor Thompson of Edmond, Okla., Phil Thompson of Moore, Okla., Mark Thompson of Tulsa, Okla., Stephen Thompson of Chickasha, Okla., and Danny Thompson of Ponca City, Okla.; five sisters, Kathleen Rouse of Burleson, Lucibel Manion and Laverne McElrath, both of Baird, Ritchey Bellamy of Marble Falls and Ivadel Scarpelli of Burnet; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society.
