CROSS PLAINS -- Glenn
"Champ" Champion, 64, died Friday in an Odessa hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m.
Monday in Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Copeland
officiating. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery.
A construction worker, Mr.
Champion was born in Callahan County. He married Ethel Snyder in Roscoe in
1958. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his
wife, of Cross Plains; three sons, Glenn Dale Champion Jr. of Potosi,
Monty Wade Champion of Stephenville and Calvin Lewis of Cross Plains; two
brothers, Robert Lee Champion of Denver City and Claude Leo Champion of
Abilene; one sister, Viola Turnbough of Denver City; and four
grandchildren.
