| Enid Strahan
CROSS PLAINS - Enid G. Strahan, 76, a longtime resident of Durango,
Colo., died at a Durango hospital after a brief illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in
Cottonwood, directed by Higginbotham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Strahan was born in Bernice, La., and, with her husband,
purchased Mayflower Moving Business in Durango in 1954. She was active
with First Southern Baptist Church and Toastmaster Club. She married James
H. Strahan in 1939 in Cottonwood.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Janice Moore of
Durango; one son, James Strahan of Durango; three brothers, John Allen
Green of Plano, Charles Green of Dayton, Ohio, and Harvey Green of San
Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Mercy, 375 E. Park Ave., Durango
CO 81301.
