| Cecil Goble Sr.
CROSS PLAINS - Cecil L. Goble Sr., 83, died Monday in an Abilene
hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Higginbotham Funeral Home
Chapel with Michael Ingram and Colene Anderson officiating. Burial will be
in Cottonwood Cemetery.
Mr. Goble was born in Cottonwood and married Delilah Wilcoxen in
1939 in Putnam. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, of Cross Plains; three sons, David
Goble, Stanley Goble and Lenley Goble Jr., all of Cross Plains; one
daughter, Naoma Wilson of Brownwood; one brother, J.D. Goble of Cross
Plains; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
