Ramsey, Hal Harrison Hal Harrison Ramsey, born July 29, 1835 - died June 6, 1898 - a Cottonwood merchant who migrated to Texas from his native Georgia, was a Pvt. Co. C, 28th (Randall's) Regt., Texas Cavalry, CSA. Enlisted 4/26/1862, at Carthage, Texas. The above organization is shown as part of Gen. J. C. Walker's Command. He was discharged 4/764.
